Digimatic Output FlashCable® for Metronics QC2000 Quadra-Chek Inspection Display
Send data to our GageMux® gage interface or other Digimatic input devices
This FlashCable® gage interface is engineered to change the output on the Metronics QC2000 ML-MT or Quadra-Chek 2000 Digital Readout Inspection Display to an output in a Digimatic format. The special 25-Pin male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface connects directly to the 25-Pin female connector on the Metronics QC2000 Quadra-Chek Inspection Display.
Designed to work with our GageMux® gage interface or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable® gage interface does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux®, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable® gage interface. If using devices, other than the GageMux®, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable®. When the FlashCable® is connected to the GageMux®, the LED on the FlashCable® turns GREEN. This indicates that the FlashCable® is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
- Using the data send button on the gage, if it has one
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the gage
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable® gage interface. The communication parameters can be changed and reconfigured per requirements for both theFlashCable® and the device. Advanced Systems & Designs sets the FlashCable® to the default settings on the Metronics QC2000 ML-MT Digital Readout Inspection Display. Refer to the operating manual on the Metronics QC2000 Quadra-chek display and make sure it is set to the same values as the FlashCable® gage interface. Use the GageMux® USB manual to see the reconfiguration instructions for the FlashCable® gage interface.
