FlashCable® Digimatic Cable for Ono Sokki EG-225 Indicator
Send data to our GageMux® gage interface or other Digimatic input devices
This FlashCable® is engineered to change the output on the Ono Sokki EG-225 digital indicator to an output in a Mitutoyo Digimatic format. The special BCD connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface connects directly to the Ono Sokki EG-225 electronic digital indicator.
Designed to work with our GageMux® or other data acquisition systems that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable® does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux®, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable®. If using devices, other than the GageMux®, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable.
When the FlashCable® is connected to the GageMux®, the LED on the FlashCable® turns GREEN. This indicates that the FlashCable® is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:
Using the data send button on the Ono Sokki EG-225 (if it has one)
Using our 300-1S in-line handswitch
Using a Footswitch on the FlashCable® (not included)
- Sending a gage read command from the computer to the Ono Sokki EG-225
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable® gage interface. Advanced Systems & Designs normally sets the FlashCable® to the default settings on the Ono Sokki EG-225. Refer to the Ono Sokki EG-225 user manual for more information on external communication.
