Mahr Millimar C1208 / C1216 Digimatic Gage Cable Interface
Send data to our GageMux® gage interface or other Digimatic input devices
This FlashCable® gage interface is engineered to convert the output on the Mahr Millimar C1208 / S1216 Display to a Digimatic format. The 9-pin female connector on this Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® connects directly to the male connector on the Mahr Millimar Display.
This FlashCable® gage interface is designed to work with our GageMux® gage interface or similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable® does not obtain any power from the Mahr Digimar 817 CLM Quick Height Display.
When properly connected to our GageMux® interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable® gage interface. On devices other than the GageMux®, pin 9 of the input port connector must provide a 5vDC power to the FlashCable®. Contact us for more information on this requirement. When the FlashCable® gage interface is powered by the GageMux® the LED on the FlashCable® turns solid GREEN. The LED briefly flashes RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.

The data transfer can be triggered by the following method:

Pressing the DATA key on the Mahr Millimar C1208 / C1216 Display

Pressing a footswitch connected to our GageMux® or similar Digimatic device

Depressing a connected footswitch (not included)
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable® gage interface. As a default setting, Advanced Systems & Designs sets the FlashCable® gage interface to the default RS232 communication settings on the Mahr Millimar C1208 / C1216 Display. The Mahr Millimar Display and FlashCable® gage interface must be set to the same RS232 communication values. Refer to the Mahr Millimar C1208 / C1216 operating instructions for more information on how to set-up external communication using the RS-232C interface.
This FlashCable® gage interface comes in a six foot standard cable length. Special lengths are available upon request. Lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
