Blanchette Tool & Gage Mfg Visual Gage FlashCable® Gage Interface

Through the use of the Advanced Systems and Designs - ASDQMS FlashCable® gage interface and GageMux® USB, the RS-232 serial port on the Blanchette 500 Series Visual Gage, the Blanchette Visual Gage is able to communicate with your SPC data collection system.
The ASDQMS FlashCable® gage interface is engineered to change the output on the Blanchette Tool & Gage Mfg Visual Gage to an output in Digimatic format. The male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface connects directly to the 9-pin female connector on the Blanchette 500 Series Visual Gage.
This FlashCable® Digimatic gage interface is designed to work with our GageMux® or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. When connected to the GageMux®, the input port provides the power to the FlashCable® gage interface. When using devices other than the GageMux® please insure that pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5v DC supply to the FlashCable® gage interface.
The LED on the FlashCable® gage interface turns GREEN when it is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is requested.
The data transfer can be triggered by the following methods:

Using the pushbutton on the Blanchette 500 Series Visual Gage

Using the Blanchette Foot Pedal on the 500 Series Visual Gage
A detailed operation manual is included with this ASDQMS FlashCable® gage interface. The FlashCable® gage interface is normally set to the to the default settings on the Blanchette 500 Series Visual Gage. Both the Blanchette 500 Series Visual Gage and FlashCable® gage interface must be set to same values. Refer to the Blanchette Tool & Gage Mfg Visual Gage SPC Interface operation manual for more information on RS232 serial communication.
This Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface has a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Six foot standard length with special lengths available upon request.
