CDI Logic & Starrett Digital Indicator Digimatic Output Gage Cable
Send Data to our GageMux® interface or other Digimatic devices using built-in data switch
This Advanced Systems & Designs "switched" SPC gage cable connects the Chicago Dial Indicator (CDI) Logic, Logic Plus, Logic Basic, Logic IQ, Starrett 2700 Series & Wisdom, or Fowler Ultra digital indicator to a Mitutoyo Digimatic 10-pin output. It is designed to work with the Advanced Systems & Designs GageMux® multiple input gage interface or other data acquisition systems that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal to easily collect SPC and inspection data. No set up required. Just plug in and go.
Note: This gage cable works the same as our 250-929 but includes a built in switch so no additional data send devices are required.
One other key feature this custom cable offers is that it completely eliminates the separate footswitch triggering requirement for most SPC software packages (like our SPC1+ Enterprise, MeasureLink, Infinity QS, WinSPC, and others). When using our GageMux® or similar multiple input devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal, instead of using a triggering device at the workstation, this gage cable will prompt the entire full comma delimited string to be sent. Your lean leader will appreciate that feature as well.
This Digimatic output interface cable does not draw any power from the gage. Six foot standard cable length - also available in custom lengths
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:

Pressing the data switch on the cable

Using our footswitch on the GageMux® or equivalent triggering method

Sending a gage read command from the computer to the GageMux® gage interface
