Mecmesin Orbis Torque Tester Digimatic Output Gage Interface
Connects the Digital Torque Tester to our GageMux® Gage Interface
The Mecmesin Orbis Torque Tester is designed to measure clockwise and counter-clockwise torques. Displayed readings can be requested from a PC using the built-in RS232 interface when the device is in the normal mode. This Advanced Systems & Designs gage cable connects the 15-pin female connector on the Mecmesin Orbis or Orbis TE Closure Torque Tester to a 10-pin Digimatic output.
This Digimatic output gage cable is designed to work with the our GageMux® gage interface or other devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The cable does not require any power from the gage. Offered in a six foot standard length. Contact us for special cable lengths requests to meet your needs.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:

Using the TXD button on the Mecmesin Orbis Torque Tester

Using our 300-1S in-line handswitch

Using the Footswitch on the GageMux® gage interface or equivalent triggering method

Sending a gage read command from the computer to the GageMux® gage interface
