Mecmesin AFG AFTI Force Gage Digimatic Output Gage Interface
Connects the Mecmesin Digital Force Gage to our GageMux® gage Interface
The Mecmesin Advanced Force Gauge (AFG) or Force & Torque Indicator (AFTI) allows the user to transmit displayed readings to an external peripheral equipment. When the TXD key on the Mecmesin Gauge is pressed, data is sent to the Mitutoyo Digimatic port. This Advanced Systems & Designs gage cable connects the 15-pin D-Sub male connector on this 2007 or older Mecmesin AFG or AFTI Gauge to a Mitutoyo Digimatic 10-pin output. This interface cable will work with the Advanced Systems & Designs GageMux® multiple-input gage interface or other devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal.
The cable does not require power from the gage. Six foot standard cable length with special lengths available upon request.
The data transfer can be triggered using any of the following methods:

Using the TXD button on the Mecmesin Advanced Force Gauge (AFG) or Force & Torque Indicator (AFTI)

Using the Footswitch on the GageMux® or equivalent triggering method

Using our 300-1S in-line handswitch

Sending a gage read command from the computer to the AFG or AFTI Gauge
