Emveco Inc. 200 Series Microgage Digimatic FlashCable® Gage Interface
Sends data to our GageMux® or similar devices
Through the use of the Advanced Systems and Designs - ASDQMS FlashCable® gage interface and GageMux® USB, and the RS-232 serial port on the Emveco 200 Series Microgage, the Emveco Microgage is able to communicate with your SPC data collection system.
The ASDQMS FlashCable® gage interface is engineered to change the output on the Emveco 200 Series Microgage to an output in Digimatic format. The male connector on the Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface connects directly to the 9-pin female connector on the Emveco Microgage.
This FlashCable® Digimatic gage interface is designed to work with our GageMux® or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. When connected to the GageMux®, the input port provides the power to the FlashCable® gage interface. When using devices other than the GageMux® please insure that pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5v DC supply to the FlashCable® gage interface.
The LED on the FlashCable® gage interface turns GREEN when it is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is requested.

Using the data output on the Emveco 200 Series Microgage
A detailed operation manual is included with this ASDQMS FlashCable® gage interface. The FlashCable® gage interface is normally set to the to the default settings on the Emveco 200 Series Microgage. Both the Emveco Microgage and FlashCable® gage interface must be set to same values. Refer to the Emveco 200 Series Microgage operation manual for more information on RS232 serial communication.
This Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable® gage interface has a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. Six foot standard length with special lengths available upon request.
