FlashCable® Digimatic Cable for Ono Sokki EG-225 Indicator

This Advanced Systems and Designs - ASDQMS FlashCable® is engineered to change the output on the Ono Sokki EG-225 digital indicator to an output in a Mitutoyo Digimatic format. The BCD connector on the FlashCable® gage interface connects directly to the Ono Sokki EG-225 electronic digital indicator.

The FlashCable® is designed to work with our GageMux® or other interface systems that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable® does not obtain any power from the gage. When connected to the GageMux®, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable®. If using devices, other than the GageMux®, make sure pin 9 of the 10-pin connector provides a 5VDC supply to the FlashCable.

When the FlashCable® is connected to the GageMux®, the LED on the FlashCable® turns GREEN. This indicates that the FlashCable® is connected properly. The LED turns RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.

The data transfer can be triggered by using a data send button on the Ono Sokki EG-225, by using our 300-1S in-line handswitch, by using a footswitch on the FlashCable®, by using the footswitch on the GageMux® USB (or equivalent triggering method on similar devices), or by sending a gage read command from the computer to the Ono Sokki EG-225.
