This Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable™ USB Keyboard single gage interface connects the Mahr Federal Maxum Plus or Maxum III E2 (10-pin) digital indicator to a computer. The SmartCable™ USB Keyboard interface connects to the Mahr Federal digital indicator using a special 10-pin connector---no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal. Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the Mahr Federal digital indicator to be identified as a keyboard device to send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no messy software wedge required. Never again struggle with when your software updates. Our Keyboard interface always works when your operating or SPC software is updated
The SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface will make the Mahr Federal E2 digital indicator readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard computer keyboard - eliminates data collection errors. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, or Explorer based SPC programs, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear and trigger a reading. Plug and Play operation!

Simple to use!
This SmartCable Keyboard is easily configured to output data in different modes, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, right and continuous reading. The user defined output mode is easily selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable Keyboard gage interface. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws. A detailed operation manual is included with each SmartCable Keyboard gage interface.
