Same as our 600-520-KB-USB but has a special 12 foot length. This special order, SmartCable Keyboard, has a three foot base cable and 9 foot USB cable.
Make your SPC data collection much easier with this feature-packed data cable. It offers various ways to trigger data and multiple output modes. This Advanced Systems & Designs SmartCable™ USB Keyboard connects a standard Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE caliper or gage (Series 570/543/575/572) directly to your computer. It attaches straight to your gage with no extra cables needed. It even includes the standard data switch at the gage connection. You'll find it very easy to set up and use.
The SmartCable™ Keyboard sends a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal. When you plug it into your computer, it registers as a regular keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application - no software wedge required. Your gage readings show up just as if you typed them yourself - eliminating data collection errors. Want to collect data in Microsoft Excel or your SPC programs? Just click the cell where you need the data and you're good to go.
Readings can be triggered by any of the following:

Pressing the push button on the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface

Depressing a connected footswitch (not included)

Pressing the standard data out button on the Mitutoyo gage connection
This SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface is easily configured to output data in different modes, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, right continuous reading, continuous reading with automatic 10, 15, or 30 second delay between readings, and others. The output mode is selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable™ Keyboard. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws. A detailed operation manual is included with each SmartCable™ Keyboard. Special order, twelve foot cable length - additional special lengths available.
