Advanced Systems and Designs is pleased to offer the updated Mitutoyo 293-180-30 IP65 QuantuMike coolant proof micrometer with SPC output and ratchet thimble. The QuantuMike measures four times faster than a standard micrometer at a similar accuracy of +/- .000050". The ratchet thimble allows for one-handed measurement that helps ensure repeat-ability. Pressing the hold button on the micrometer freezes the current value on the display. This is useful for preserving measurements when the instrument must be moved away from the workpiece before a reading can be recorded.
