The Advanced Systems & Designs – ASDQMS SmartCable™ USB Keyboard single gage interface connects the Ametek Crystal Pressure XP2i Digital Test Gauge to a computer. This SmartCable™ Keyboard allows you to record displayed readings and see recorded peaks using a SEND button on the interface. The connection is made using a 9-pin male cable connector. There are no additional cables required. The output of the SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface is a standard USB 2.0 keyboard signal.

Connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard with its built-in keyboard wedge to a computer will allow the Ametek Crystal Pressure XP2i Test Gauge to be identified as a keyboard device that can send data to any Microsoft Windows application. Eliminate data collection errors by using this SmartCable™ Keyboard interface because the Ametek Crystal Pressure XP2i Digital Test Gauge readings appear as if they were typed in using a standard keyboard. If you want to collect data into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, simply select the cell where you want the data to appear.

Readings can be triggered by pressing the button on the SmartCable™ Keyboard or depressing a connected footswitch.
