The Mitutoyo 950-318 Pro3600 Digital Protractor presents inclination values on an easy to read liquid crystal display. The measurements are generated by an electronic gravity sensor and processed by low power electronic circuit technology. Included in this combo set is a 30 foot long 600-22-PRO3600-KB-USB so you can send readings right to Excel

Simple to use!
LED Indicator lights aid the user with the operation of the SmartCable™ gage interface. This ASDQMS SmartCable™ Keyboard gage interface is easily configured to output data in different output modes on your spreadsheet, such as CR, TAB, up, down, left, or right, and continuous mode with 15 second delay or 30 second delay. The output mode can be selected by adjusting the rotary switch on the SmartCable™ Keyboard. To access the rotary switch, simply remove the top cover by loosening two Phillips screws.
There are two modes for data output from the gage. It is based on the sequence of when the SmartCable is plugged into Digital Protractor and when the Digital Protractor is turned on.

Normal mode: In this mode the gage outputs data whenever the push button on the SmartCable™ USB Keyboard (or connected footswitch) is depressed as mentioned above. To select this mode first apply power to the gage (turn ON the gage) and then connecting the SmartCable™ Keyboard to the computer.

Continuous mode: In this mode the gage outputs data continuously. This mode is selected by first plugging the SmartCable™ Keyboard into the computer and digital protractor, then turning on the digital protractor.
