This 16 foot USB extension cable allows you to extend our SmartCable USB single gage interfaces beyond the standard length and increase the distance between your computer and the gage. Long passive cables have the risk of data loss because they cannot pass the signals efficiently over long distances.
This USB 2.0 extension (16 feet) transfers 380ma of power to the USB device and acts link a single-port hub. It supports Windows operating systems including Windows 7 and Vista 64 Bit. Has a ASIC chip inside that buffers the in-coming and out-going USB signals. Easy Installation.
You can connect up to 5 in tandem for a total length of 80 feet.
