Limiting User Access

Many installations will find it useful to limit some of the software functionality for different users. For example, Supervisors may wish to prevent data entry personnel from modifying Characteristics and their options. Since there are likely to be more than one user doing data entry, you create Privilege Levels that can be easily applied to the selected set of users.

Virtually all functions within the software can be controlled in this manner. If you have no need for limiting access, simply keep all users at the Administration level. This provides full access to all functions.
