Database Accessibility

Typically, a System Administrator will install the application and its database to a network. Workstation installations will then be done to provide each user access to the application and database. You may decide to set up multiple databases, perhaps one for each department. This is easily handled during installation, but remember that data (such as User names or Gages) will have to be entered separately into the different databases.

The database is ODBC-compliant, so that it may be queried from other applications. This allows for more advanced off-line analysis.
